Moving and hauling for 3 years now household goods, motorcycles, Pets and Livestock, Office furniture, Cars.Basically anything you need hauled or shipped Found the citizen Shipper and decided to give them a try.
I had Mr. Hemperley deliver my motorcycle to TX from SC in late April. Delivery went fairly well, meaning the bike was delivered as promised. However, Mr. Hemperley broke a left side mirror on my bike which cost on average $250.00 from the dealership. Im not upset at this because I understand that stuff happens during shipment and Mr. Hemperley had agreed to replace it very quickly. Infact I was told one had already been ordered. It has now been a month of phone calls and voice mails left for him with no return. So unfortunatly I have to recommend that people do not use this shipper. He claims to have insurance but will not fix problems that he causes. What good is a shipper if he cant do the one thing he gets paid to do properly? I should have gone with a well known company instead.

We had a clear cut contract with hemperley shipping to show up at our house at seven pm Thursday. He pushed the time back twelve hours then another five then another two before calling us to ask for gas money just so he could make it to our house and said upon arriving twenty four hours late that he would need the other half of the payment up front. He violated the contract and after verbally agreeing to refund us of deposit because of the violation he backed out and screwed us out of 800 dollars. He called
Me a liar and yelled and cussed at my husband over the phone. He is the most unprofessional person I've ever worked with and does not know how to run a business. Seems like a complete scam to me. Oh and if you google him you'll learn from his facebook page that he's only been doing this for three months not three years like his account claims. Beware.
Response Left By ChristopherI was in contact with these people for 3 straight days as I was making other deliveries I never cursed this or any other client I was going to be there Thursday but the wife told me not to be there till Friday so I can prove I was in Illinoise about 20 min from there house when the husband said he would rent a uhaul and move himself it would save money and asked for his deposit back I just drove 1100 miles im not eating that cost even with his deposit it cost me some money for that wasted time and run and my atty told me to keep the deposit and sue for the rest of the contract. I have never delt with people like this and I would advise for any other shipper to stay away.
Would reccomend to anyone Chris is very professional courteous and fast, when he tells you something he sticks to it, I had a deadline that had to be met and he got it there early would use everytime I ship if he was available thanks chris
